INTRODUCTION
PT Skortech Karya Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as “SkorLife,” “the Company,” “We,” or “Skorverify”) is a company that provides corporate users (“Partners”) with convenient access to Credit Information and other related data, offering Partners the opportunity to manage their Credit Information or to build their credit history.
These Terms of Use are incorporated into and must be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy. The Partner understands and agrees that these Terms of Use constitute an integral part of the Privacy Policy.
These Terms of Use are established to govern the provision of the Services as defined below:
1. Definition
- Licensed Access Information refers to access numbers, passwords, security questions and answers, account numbers, and/or login credentials and other similar information that enable the Partner to access information and/or Services on SkorLife.
- Licensed Credit Bureau refers to an institution that collects and processes credit or financing data and other relevant data to generate credit information and that holds the necessary business license from the Financial Services Authority of the Republic of Indonesia (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan or OJK) as a Credit Information Management Institution, as described in OJK Regulation No. 5/POJK.03/2022 or as amended from time to time.
- User Account Data refers to data contained in the Partner’s account on the Partner’s financial service provider network, including but not limited to bank transactions, credit card transactions, debit card transactions, and deposit data.
- Credit Information means products and/or services produced by a Licensed Credit Bureau, whether delivered in writing, orally, or through other methods, based on credit or financing data and other data collected and processed by the Licensed Credit Bureau.
- Loss means any loss, claim, damage, error, malpractice, negligence, liability, responsibility, fine, judgment, arbitration decision, lawsuit, legal proceeding, investigation, or inquiry.
- Credit Report refers to a report based on Credit Data that has been organized, analyzed, and compiled by SkorLife, or by SkorLife in collaboration with third parties, in a format that is easier for the User to understand and is made available on the SkorLife Platform or sent directly to the User’s email.
- Email Service refers to a personal email service that is managed and controlled by the User to receive information, including but not limited to the User’s Credit Information.
- Services means the services provided by Us to the Partner as stipulated in the Skorverify Terms of Use.
- Payment Service Provider refers to third-party payment service providers that collaborate with Us to process, transmit, and facilitate payment methods on the SkorLife/Skorverify Platform.
- SkorLife Platform refers to the application, digital platform, website, social media, partner platform, or any other platform in any form managed and operated by Us.
- Dispute means any dispute, conflict, controversy, or disagreement.
2. Services
a. In the provision of the Services, We act for and on behalf of the User in accordance with the authority and power granted to Us under Point 3 (Three) of these Terms of Use. The Services provided include the following:
- Facilitation of Credit Information Provision
We facilitate the Partner with a secure environment and infrastructure to digitally request the Partner’s Credit Information directly from a Licensed Credit Bureau. This includes completing the credit information request form on behalf of the Partner and submitting the form to the Licensed Credit Bureau. The Licensed Credit Bureau will deliver the Partner’s Credit Information directly to the Partner’s Email Service. Access to the Credit Information remains fully under the control of the Partner and does not require the use of the SkorLife Platform to receive such information.
- Facilitation of Credit Information Monitoring
To assist the Partner in monitoring their Credit Information, we seek the Partner’s consent to access such Credit Information. We use our expertise to analyze and provide the Partner with insights and recommendations to help interpret their Credit Information, understand influencing factors, and assess the Partner’s financial health in the form of a Credit Report. In relation to the Credit Report, we provide tips to help the Partner manage their Credit Information, including setting reminders for timely payment of dues, credit monitoring, and identity monitoring.
- Facilitation of Communication for Rectifying Inaccuracies in Financial Data
We also provide communication services between the Partner and the Licensed Credit Bureau to rectify any discrepancies between the Credit Information provided by the Licensed Credit Bureau and the actual circumstances of the Partner.
- Facilitation of Access to Credit Information by Companies Collaborating with SkorLife
In certain situations, we facilitate access to the Partner’s Credit Information by companies collaborating with SkorLife. Such access is subject to the Partner’s prior consent.
b. Terms of Service
- Eligibility to Receive Services
By accessing and registering as a User, the Partner hereby declares the following:
- The Partner’s credit report is only available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older;
- The Partner has the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
- The Partner is not legally prohibited or restricted from accessing or using the SkorLife Platform or its Services;
- The Partner is seeking their own Credit Information from a Licensed Credit Bureau through the SkorLife Platform and disclosing such Credit Information to assist in monitoring and improving their credit profile.
- Terms of Credit Information Facilitation Services
- In facilitating the provision of the Partner’s Credit Information, SkorLife does not determine or exert any influence over the credit score or creditworthiness assigned to the Partner by any Licensed Credit Bureau or financial institution that the Partner may choose to engage with in the future.
- To enable the provision of Credit Information, SkorLife collaborates with Know Your Business (KYB) electronic verification service providers, Licensed Credit Bureaus, Email Service Providers, and other financial service institutions, whereby the Partner’s data and information may be shared by Us and stored by these parties. These financial service providers, with the Partner’s consent, may be used by Us to obtain Credit Information and for any analytical purposes aimed at improving the Services and customer experience.
- Terms of the Service for Rectifying Inaccuracies in the Partner’s Financial Data
Under this service, the Partner may access the feature to request the rectification of inaccurate financial data through the SkorLife Platform or may also submit a request to amend their Credit Information by sending a complaint to us at wecare@skorlife.com. In the event of inaccuracies in the processed Credit Information, the request must be accompanied by supporting data and/or information such as:
- Credit history;
- Credit payment history; and
- Other financial details that may affect the Partner’s credit assessment.
This information will then be forwarded by Us to the Licensed Credit Bureau for resolution related to the request for amendments to the Credit Information.
3. Consent and Grant of Authority in Connection with the Provision of Services
The Partner hereby agrees and grants full authority and power to Us to act for and on behalf of the Partner to:
- Collect and process all necessary personal data and complete all required forms for the purpose of submitting a request for the Partner’s Credit Information;
- Obtain and/or receive personal and financial data and information and/or other related information owned by the Partner from a Licensed Credit Bureau in the form of Credit Information through the Partner’s Email Service;
- Obtain, collect, process, analyze, store, display, and/or transmit such data and information of the Partner periodically from and/or to relevant parties in connection with the provision of Services to the Partner; and
- In relation to the correction of Credit Information, the Partner also authorizes and empowers Us to forward all necessary personal and financial data of the Partner in order to submit a request for correction of the Credit Information to the Licensed Credit Bureau.
4. Termination / Account Deletion
The Partner may terminate their legal agreement with Us at any time by deleting their account and ceasing the use of the Services, subject to the terms of the cooperation agreement between Us and the Partner.
The Partner may submit a request for account deletion in accordance with the provisions of Our Privacy Policy.
5. Liability & Limitation
The Partner shall bear full responsibility for:
- Any misuse of the Services by its internal parties;
- The Partner agrees to immediately notify Us if the Partner becomes aware of any loss, theft, or unauthorized use of the Licensee Access Information. We reserve the right to deny access to the Services (or any part thereof) if We reasonably believe that the Partner has experienced a loss, theft, or unauthorized use of the Licensee Access Information, in order to allow Us to address the issue. The Partner hereby releases Us from any Losses in relation to the foregoing.
- Indemnifying SkorLife against any third-party claims resulting from any violations committed by the Partner or any party granted access by the Partner.
- The Partner hereby acknowledges and agrees that We and third-party vendors (including but not limited to Licensed Credit Bureaus) are authorized to aggregate the User Account Data with data from others for the purposes of data analytics, gaining aggregated-level insights—such as the average age or gender distribution of SkorLife Users—and conducting specific analytical research, performance tracking and benchmarking, and all other purposes intended to improve the Services and provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance, to the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations. However, the User Account Data shall not be directly identifiable to the Partner or any individual.
Our Limitations :
- To the extent permitted by law, SkorLife shall not be held liable, whether directly or indirectly, for the accuracy of Credit Information provided by a Licensed Credit Bureau, and therefore the Partner agrees to fully release and discharge SkorLife from any Losses related to such inaccurate information.
- Credit Information may differ from credit assessments/reports provided by other domestic or international credit bureaus or financial institutions. If the Partner uses the Credit Information to apply for or obtain any financial products or facilities, We do not guarantee that the application will be approved or successful.
6. Cooperation with Payment Service Providers
We may collaborate with Payment Service Providers to facilitate transactions conducted on the SkorLife Platform. By submitting your payment information through the SkorLife Platform, you authorize Us to provide such information to the relevant Payment Service Provider to enable the payment process. The Partner acknowledges and understands that the use of such Payment Services may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the respective Payment Service Providers, and We encourage the Partner to review and assess those terms and conditions carefully. The Partner further acknowledges and understands that Payment Service Providers may experience failures, issues, or technical disruptions in transmitting, processing, or completing payments made by the Partner to their bank account or electronic wallet. In such instances, the Partner agrees and undertakes not to assert any claims or demands against Us for any and all damages or losses (including but not limited to loss of funds, reputation, profits, or other intangible losses) that may arise directly or indirectly as a result of such failures, issues, or technical disruptions by the Payment Service Provider.
7. Membership in a Credit Bureau
By joining and using the Skorverify Services, the Partner hereby automatically agrees to become an active member of the applicable credit information bureau, in this case, PT CRIF Lembaga Informasi Keuangan (CLIK), which is licensed by the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan or OJK) to operate as a credit bureau.
The Partner hereby consents to the sharing and receipt of credit data, including but not limited to historical payment data, financing facilities, and other relevant information, as required under CLIK membership obligations. Skorverify will facilitate the administrative and technical processes related to the Partner’s membership in CLIK in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
8. Prohibitions
The Partner agrees not to use, or attempt to use, the Skorverify services for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited by these Terms of Use or any applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the following:
- Creating and/or using any hardware, software, features, and/or other devices for the purpose of manipulating the SkorLife/Skorverify system or replicating the SkorLife/Skorverify system or any part of the SkorLife/Skorverify Platform, including manipulation of (i) Content, (ii) crawling/scraping activities; or (iii) any other activities that may reasonably be deemed manipulative of the SkorLife/Skorverify Platform system;
- Misusing or interfering with the operation of the SkorLife/Skorverify Platform or the servers or networks connected to it, including installing, sending, transmitting, uploading, or providing any material that contains software viruses, worms, or any code, files, or programs designed to disrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
- Collecting or storing personal data of other users of the SkorLife/Skorverify Platform in connection with any prohibited conduct or activity as set forth in these Terms of Use;
- Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or misrepresenting the Partner’s affiliation with any person or entity;
- Removing any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices from the SkorLife/Skorverify Platform; and
- Gaining unauthorized access to any part or feature of the SkorLife/Skorverify Platform, including taking any action that negatively affects or causes inconvenience to other Users.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms of Use and the provision of Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
- The Parties agree that in the event of a Dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Use or their implementation, the Parties shall endeavor, within thirty (30) business days from the receipt of written notice of the Dispute from one Party to the other, to resolve such Dispute amicably through mutual consultation.
- If the Parties are unable to resolve the Dispute amicably within the aforementioned period, the Dispute shall be referred to and finally settled by the South Jakarta District Court (Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan).
10. Language
These Terms of Use are prepared in both Indonesian and English. In the event of any inconsistency or difference in interpretation between the Indonesian version and the English version, the Parties agree that the Indonesian version shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency or difference, and the relevant English version shall be deemed automatically amended to conform to the relevant part of the Indonesian version.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Use or its application to any person or circumstance is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall not be affected and shall continue in full force and effect.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between the Partner and Us with respect to the subject matter hereof, and supersede any prior versions of the Terms of Use.
The Partner may be subject to additional terms and conditions when using, purchasing, or accessing other services, affiliate services, or third-party content or materials.
13. Amendments to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend, modify, add to, or revise these Terms of Use and Our Privacy Policy from time to time without prior notice to the User, and any such changes will be posted on this page.
By continuing to use the Services, the Partner agrees to such amendments, modifications, additions, and/or revisions. We recommend that the Partner periodically review and check for any updates to the Terms of Use and Our Privacy Policy.
14. Notices
We may send receipts, invoices, notices, newsletters, promotions, alerts, and other information to the Partner via the registered phone number and/or email address. The Partner may opt out of receiving such messages at any time by adjusting the preferences and settings in the Partner’s account. The Partner acknowledges that opting out may affect the Partner’s use of the SkorLife/Skorverify Platform. For certain messages related to Our Services that we deem essential, the Partner may not be given the option to opt out of receiving them.
In addition, any notice regarding the revocation of authority and power granted by the Partner to Us may be sent electronically to the following email address: wecare@skorlife.com.
15. Authorization and Consent by the Partner
The Partner has read, understood, and agreed to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, both of which form an integral and inseparable part of this agreement.
The Partner hereby agrees to grant the authority and power as stipulated in the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to SkorLife/Skorverify. This consent is given voluntarily, with full awareness, and without any coercion from any party.
The authorization and power granted under the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy shall remain in effect continuously until revoked by the Partner.
In the event of the expiration or revocation of such authorization, the authority and power provided under these Terms of Use shall become effective again once the Partner grants renewed consent through the SkorLife/Skorverify Platform. Upon such renewed consent, the effective period of the authorization shall be calculated from the date the renewed consent is given.
This authorization and consent shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
By checking the box following the statement “Partner understands and agrees to the Terms of Use & Privacy Policy,” the Partner hereby agrees to be bound by these Terms of Use.
